TiPS Certification and Recertification Fall/Winter Schedule

Here are TiPS Recertification class and Full class schedules for the rest of 2025.

FULL CLASS

(New servers, or expired over 60 days)

The cost is $50 for Members or $65 for Non-Members. The Class covers all test material, with a test at the end.

RECERTIFICATION

Recertification Only, Brief review and test. Must have proof of previous certification expired under 60 days.

Cost is $55 for Members or $75 for Non-Members.

Tests are taken on-line, so you need to bring an electronic device that can access Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. (Smartphones work). Limited amount of laptops available if needed.

All classes will be held at 903 West Northern Lights Blvd #222. Please be on time as the building is secured, and we must enter together.

ServSafe Training Course is now online

One of the Alaska Hospitality Retailers member benefits is our in-person ServSafe course with our excellent instructor. Now we are making it better by adding ServSafe course online!

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to purchase and access the ServSafe Manager Certification exam or course online. ​Don’t wait—get certified today and enhance your food safety expertise!

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Go to ServSafe.com.
  2. Click“Login / Create Account” at the top of the page.
  • Mobile Users: Tap the three lines in the top-right corner, then scroll down to log in or create an account.
  1. Follow the prompts to set up your account.

Step 2: Select ServSafe Manager

  1. On the ServSafe homepage, click“ServSafe Manager”.
  • Mobile Users: Tap the three lines in the top-right corner to access the menu, then select “ServSafe Manager”.

Step 3: Choose Your Product

  1. Click “Buy” under “Buy Products”.
  2. Select “Manager Training and Certification Exam Products”
  3. Scroll down and choose one of the following options:

Step 4: Complete Your Purchase

  1. Click “Add to Cart” for your selected product.
  2. Click “View Your Cart” and then “Checkout”.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Step 5: Schedule Your Proctor

  1. After purchase, check your email for instructions and a link to schedule your online proctor.

You’re all set! Follow the instructions in your email to complete your certification process.
